Eni: Plenitude acquires solar power plants in the USA


(CercleFinance.com) – Eni announces that Plenitude, its company specializing in the sale and marketing of gas and electricity for households and businesses, has signed an agreement (through its American subsidiary Eni New Energy US) with global energy leader EDP Renováveis ​​(‘EDPR’), to acquire an 80% stake in a portfolio of operational photovoltaic power plants located in the United States.

The Cattlemen (Texas), Timber Road (Ohio) and Blue Harvest (Ohio) solar farms have a total installed capacity of 340 MWac (478 MWdc), including 272 MWac (382 MWdc) corresponding to Plenitude’s share.

“The agreement allows Plenitude to reach more than 1.2 GW of installed capacity in the United States, contributing to the goal of reaching 7 GW worldwide by 2026,” says Stefano Goberti, managing director of Fullness.
