(CercleFinance.com) – Eni together with Fincantieri, one of the largest shipbuilding groups in the world and RINA, a multinational inspection, certification and engineering consultancy company, have signed an agreement to develop partnership initiatives for the transition energy.
The partnership formalizes the commitment to develop joint projects, in line with the partners’ strategies, to decarbonize the maritime sector in the medium and long term with the objective of Net Zero by 2050.
Giuseppe Ricci, operational director of Energy Evolution at Eni, judges that for the company, ‘this is a further step in [son] journey towards the transition and decarbonization of maritime transport’.
