This is not the first time that Susanne Seehofer has turned to the Free Democrats – but this time it’s official. The daughter of the CSU politician Horst Seehofer is now a member of the FDP. Your father reacts “deeply relaxed”.
The daughter of the CSU honorary chairman Horst Seehofer is drawn to political competition. Father Horst reacted calmly to joining the party. Seehofer told the “Augsburger Allgemeine” that he had known about his daughter for a long time that she sympathized with the FDP and had already wanted to run for the Liberals in Munich. For him this is “no problem at all,” he emphasized. “The following applies to all of my children: They have their own opinion and their own horizon.” Susanne Seehofer made a similar statement in the “Abendzeitung”: “My dad is deeply relaxed about that. And I think he’s a little proud too.”
