(CercleFinance.com) – Al Cook, executive vice president for international exploration and production, has informed Norwegian oil and gas group Equinor that he will step down to become CEO of a company outside the energy sector. .
To ensure a successful handover to his successor, Al Cook will remain in his current role with Equinor until April 1, 2023 at the latest.
Al Cook joined Equinor in 2016. From May 2018 to January 2021, he served as Executive Vice President for Global Strategy and Business Development.
