(CercleFinance.com) – Following the fulfillment of all the conditions precedent, Eramet announces that it has finalized the sale of its subsidiary Eramet Sandouville, a hydro-metallurgical plant located in France, to Sibanye-Stillwater, an international mining and metallurgical group.
As a reminder, the French group had exercised its option to sell Eramet Sandouville shares last November, and signed the sale contract with Sibanye-Stillwater, which had made it a unilateral promise to purchase in July 2021.
Eramet estimates that after taking price adjustments into account, the net proceeds from this transaction should amount to approximately €85 million, with a positive impact on the group’s cash position.
