(CercleFinance.com) – Eramet announces today that it has successfully completed the placement of an issue of sustainability-linked bonds, for an amount of 500 million euros with a maturity of 5 years and a half and an annual coupon of 6.5%.
This Bond Issue was very favorably received by a diversified base of institutional investors in France and internationally. This show has been subscribed more than 3 times.
The Bond Issue is linked to two sustainable performance objectives, namely the reduction of 37%, compared to 2019, in the intensity of annual greenhouse gas emissions per tonne produced (scope 1 and scope 2) of the Eramet group as of December 31, 2026 and the increase to 67% in the share (in terms of emissions) of its suppliers and customers with decarbonization objectives for their own greenhouse gas emissions (scopes 1 and 2 ).
The Bond Issue, whose settlement and delivery is scheduled for May 30, 2024, should be admitted to trading on the regulated Euronext market in Paris and receive ratings of Ba2 by Moody’s and BB by Fitch.
