It is on Facebook that Gaëlle Lenfant, member of the opposition group Aix en Sharing, declared to have been the victim of a sexual assault on the part of Eric Zemmour in 2004. The entourage of the polemicist denies it.
On April 24, 2021, a curious giant banner was displayed cours Mirabeau, in Aix-en-Provence, by unidentified people. It could read “2022 I sign for Zemmour.fr”. Support for the polemicist who triggered a deep anger in Gaëlle Lenfant, a member of the Aix en sharing opposition group. The same day, the chosen one shared on his Facebook the story of a sexual assault she allegedly suffered at the hands of the media man in 2004, accompanied by the hashtag #balancetonporc:
“At the moment when Zemmour appears, in Aix, at the top of a scaffolding, large, very large, and calls for us to vote to make him the President of our Republic (we really have the right to elect a guy convicted of insult and incitement to hatred? Really?) At the moment, therefore, when I discovered with amazement and disgust this display, asking me how he had found the authorizations, who owned this scaffolding, if the town had given its consent, at that very moment I was returning this disgusting moment of my life, which, every time I think about it (and I think about it …) makes me nauseous, with anger and shame, because even in reasoning, I cannot shed this ancestral shame, the one that every assaulted woman who reads me will understand. It was, I believe, in 2004. I was then a young activist of the PS, and I participated in our University of summer, in La Rochelle. The day before, we had dined at 5 in a small restaurant near the port. There was Mélenchon there, Bartolone, a BDR PS activist, me, and … this Figaro journalist I had never heard of, Eric Zemmour. The evening is going well, NOTHING is happening, nothing but polite conversations with Zemmour. The next morning, I took part in a workshop led by Jean-Luc Mélenchon (who was then at the PS and had founded the current in which I was participating). I sit down, and about half an hour later, Zemmour arrives. Sit in the chair in front of me. Recognizes me, says hello and asks me what he missed. I summarized the intervention for him. The workshop ends, I get up, he gets up too. Catches me by the neck. Told me ‘this dress looks great on you, you know?’
And kiss me. By force. I found myself so flabbergasted that there was nothing I could do but push him away and run away. To shiver. Cry. Wonder what I could have done.
What could I have done? To a guy who wrote ‘How did women get into the National Assembly and the Senate? By parity laws that forced people to put them on lists. And I won’t tell you how we put them there … We put the friends, the wives, the mistresses, etc. ‘ ?
I had done nothing, said nothing, shown nothing, wanted nothing. Of course I had nothing to do with it. I was just something that the one who defines himself as a ‘sexual predator (…)’ had wanted, and when you want, in his world, you use. He helped himself. That’s all.
That’s all. He helped himself. That was years ago, but the disgust doesn’t go away. And now I have to endure his shameless campaign in my town? Say, reassure me, the poster of this #pork is not going to stay there? Not like my disgust, reassure me … “

Contacted by aufeminin on Tuesday April 27, 2021, Eric Zemmour’s lawyer, Maître Pardo, did not respond to our requests. For his part, Release confirms thanks to an investigation the presence of the columnist of CNews at the summer universities of La Rochelle of 2004 and 2005. The entourage of Zemmour explains that the polemicist did not “No memory of this scene. (…) Éric Zemmour will not fall into the trap of judicialization ”, can we read on franceinfo.
“She is a very serious and very calm woman and I really don’t see why Gaëlle Lenfant would invent such a traumatic story”, meanwhile declared Jean-Luc Mélenchon to our colleagues in Libé. Joined by aufeminin, Gaëlle Lenfant does not wish to express herself further for the moment.
