Eric Zemmour was the guest of the Grand Rendez-vous Europe 1/Cnews/Les Echos. Asked about the future of his party “Renconquête!”, the president of the party continues to advocate the union of the rights and does not rule out being at the top of the list in the next European elections.
What future for “Reconquest!” ? Invited to the microphone of Europe 1 / Cnews / The echoes, the president of the party Eric Zemmour thinks about the future and does not refuse to be the head of the party list for the next European elections. “I do not forbid myself anything, these are completely legitimate ambitions”, he explains on the set of the Grand Rendez-vous.
But, while Europeans will vote in 2024 to appoint their next deputies, Eric Zemmour first wants to focus on the present. “The future of reconquest is played out in the short term,” he explains. “I think the party has to be in action every day,” he continues.
2024 then 2027?
“We have to show our usefulness. For example, for the school: who warned about the collapse of the school and the Islamization, the Islamic offensive at school? It’s reconquest. (…) So I think Reconquest must be present on the ground at all times,” said its president.
On the other hand, it is difficult for Éric Zemmour to project himself into the presidential election of 2027. “All that is far away”, he explains, ensuring that he wants to build a party first. “We continue to have memberships,” he says. “We must be the engine of the right and the voters must understand that if the voters want this union of the right, they must vote for us”, he concludes.
