(CercleFinance.com) – Ericsson announces that it has launched a 5G smart site on the 700 Mhz band with China Mobile Jiangsu. This site does not produce carbon dioxide.
In addition, Ericsson has also partnered with China Mobile Guangdong to launch an energy-efficient site on the 2.6 GHz band.
As part of the collaboration, China Mobile has implemented Ericsson’s power system, which enables hybrid power management.
This solution optimizes the use of solar, grid and battery power to achieve the most energy efficient operation.
“We are excited to further contribute to a more energy-efficient 5G network with China Mobile,” said Liming Tang, RAN HW Solution Manager for Northeast Asia at Ericsson.
