(CercleFinance.com) – Ericsson announces that it is partnering with the Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria) to launch the ‘Ericsson Educate: 5G University’ program with the ambition to develop digital skills, knowledge and awareness of 5G and emerging technologies among students.
Bulgaria is the first country where Ericsson is implementing its 5G Global University Program as an elective subject in the curriculum for 3rd and 4th year undergraduate students, as well as 1st year masters students.
The program is based on an in-depth 64-hour training on 5G technology and standards. It will be taught in Bulgarian by professors from the Faculty of Telecommunications based on Ericsson learning material covering 5G RAN, 5G Core and 5G Cloud. The course will stretch over two semesters during the 2022-2023 academic year.
