(CercleFinance.com) – Ericsson announces that it has successfully demonstrated an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) for industrial use in a real warehouse environment, with Turkcell.
The demonstration was carried out on Turkcell’s private 5G network, provided by Ericsson and was carried out in close collaboration with local autonomous mobile robot manufacturer Milvus Robotics.
According to Ericsson, this demonstration highlighted the capabilities of 5G and private networks to allow manufacturers in Turkey to process and manage, with artificial intelligence (AI), substantial amounts of data that allow the free flow of multiple AMRs in the production environment with a high density of connected devices.
