(CercleFinance.com) – Ericsson will establish the first technological developments in 6G radio microelectronics.
The group is set to receive five-year funding from the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action for its European Microelectronics and Communications Technologies for 6G (EMCT) project.
This project aims to develop technological advances in semiconductors and establish the foundation for the development of energy-efficient and sustainable microelectronics and communications technologies for 6G Massive MIMO radios, in collaboration with European partners.
This initiative was jointly prepared by 14 EU Member States and will provide up to €8.1 billion in public funding to support research and development projects across the entire microelectronics and communication technologies.
