INTERVIEW. In “History of an ogre”, the writer takes up the pen against the Breton entrepreneur, who, according to him, has become an insatiable financier.

VS’is a tale, not a pamphlet, of 167 pages written in the vein of Italo Calvino or Voltaire (period Candid). In story of an ogrepublished on February 16 by Gallimard, Erik Orsenna attacks Vincent Bolloré, CEO of the Compagnie de l’Odet, holding company controlling the Bolloré and Vivendi groups.

The writer, former cultural adviser to François Mitterrand, who says he has long admired the Bolloré family, began to worry about the actions of the Breton entrepreneur in 2015, when Vivendi and Canal+ took control.
