Even at 78 years old, Ernie Hudson still values toned muscles! The “Ghostbusters” star shows off his toned body.

Ernie Hudson (78) aka ghost hunter Winston Zeddmore is still extremely fit even at almost 80 years old. The actor amazed his fans at a screening of his film “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” in London. He appeared in a tight-fitting T-shirt that showed off his muscular torso. With this, Hudson caused an uproar on social media, like “New York Post” reports.

The “Ghostbusters” star was flattered by the compliments on his body. “It’s nice to be noticed. It’s been a bit of a surprise the last few days. I’ve always been in pretty good shape, but I usually wear a suit or jacket to these press conferences,” explained he told “People Magazine“.

Hudson is not a fan of pumping

In order to stay fit at the age of 78, Hudson doesn’t rely on hours of training. “My career hasn’t been about focusing on my physical condition. The most important thing for me is just trying to maintain your health, using common sense,” he said in the interview. The American goes to the gym three times a week and also takes Pilates lessons.

A personal trainer supports him. “When I meet this guy, he does things to me that I feel like are going to hurt me for days to come. As painful as it is, I kind of enjoy it,” Hudson joked.

His wife keeps him fit

Hudson is encouraged in his healthy lifestyle by his wife Linda Kingsberg. The two have been married for 40 years. Together they walk 10,000 steps every day. Sports have a profound meaning for Hudson. “The spiritual dictates the physical more than the other way around. So when I’m in good shape and aware of how I’m living my life, the other things fall into place,” he explained.
