Erzgebirge Aue is now the last
St. Pauli jumps to the top after falling behind
Next away win: FC St. Pauli took the lead in the 2nd Bundesliga after falling behind at FC Heidenheim. Because Ingolstadt scores against Kiel and the Erzgebirge Aue loses at Karlsruher SC, the Saxons take over the unpopular Red Lantern.

With another away win, FC St. Pauli has consolidated its lead in the 2nd Bundesliga. Hamburg prevailed after falling behind at 1. FC Heidenheim 4: 2 (0: 1).
St. Pauli turned the game around within five minutes in the second half with three goals from striker Guido Burgstaller (55th / 60th) and Max Dittgen (56th). From the guests’ point of view, Dittgen (81st) also marked the end. Tobias Mohr (4th) had given the Heidenheim team an early lead, Tim Kleindienst (85th) managed to make it 2: 4. The Austrian Burgstaller increased his season hit account to nine.
FC Ingolstadt 04 – Holstein Kiel 1: 1 (0: 1)
The Rote Laterne was able to surrender the promoted FC Ingolstadt to Erzgebirge Aue with a 1: 1 (0: 1) against Holstein Kiel. The Kiel could not break away from the end of the table with the point. The new FCI coach Andre Schubert, who used to work as a trainer in Kiel, was able to score at his home premiere and lead his protégés to the penultimate place in the table with five points. Aue lost to Karlsruher SC with 1: 2 (0: 0). KSC, on the other hand, reduced the gap to the promotion zone to three points after two games without any success with goals from Fabian Schleusener (46th) and Philipp Hofmann (67th). Karlsruhe goalkeeper Marius Gersbeck saw the red card after an emergency brake (80th). Anthony Barylla (83.) scored the next goal for Aue. The Austrian Benedikt Pichler (13th) headed the Kielers into the lead, Stefan Kutschke (46th) was also successful with a header to equalize.
