Whirlwind about the German contribution to this year's Eurovision Song Contest: The ESC final will take place on May 16 – who will then sing for Germany in Rotterdam is not yet clear. According to a report by the "Bild" newspaper, the responsible NDR is said to have tipped the show for the ESC preliminary decision and has already selected a direct candidate for the ESC. When asked by the news agency spot on news, the NDR said: "We cannot confirm the report in the 'Bild' newspaper. The NDR will provide initial information about the plans for the ESC at the end of this month. Until then, we ask for your patience."
