In the case of the boy who died in an accident on Zurich’s Escher-Wyss-Platz, the Zurich public prosecutor’s office became active.
The possible involvement of three vehicle drivers who could be involved in the accident are being investigated in criminal proceedings.
This was explained by Erich Wenzinger from the public prosecutor’s office at the request of the Zurich Schaffhausen regional journal.
“The public prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings against the relevant vehicle drivers before Christmas,” said Wenzinger. This means that there is sufficient suspicion. However, he also emphasized that the exact course of the accident was not known. The presumption of innocence applies. The people are also not in custody.

On December 21, a five-year-old boy died in an alleged traffic accident on Escher-Wyss-Platz on the way to kindergarten.
