Esports is starting to catch on, and Forbes’ latest list of influencers under 30 proves it. There are several esports stars, including Neo, founder of Team Vitality.

Previously seen as a niche practice and highly stigmatized, esport begins to democratize over the years. Whether it’s thanks to ever bigger events or a growing number of spectators, esports is making its way, so much so that the mainstream media are talking about it more and more. The last to talk about it is Forbes in its famous “30 under 30” lists of 30 most influential people under 30 in their category.

In the Sports & Games categorywe therefore find several esports personalities including a Frenchman, Fabien “Neo” Devide, co-founder of Team Vitality. The French structure being one of the most influential in the world being present on major games like League of Legends, CS:GO or even VALORANT, this is not surprising. Many other esports personalities or even managers of pioneering video game companies are present and you can see the whole list on this link. Among the rest of this Sports & Gaming list, we find two Frenchmen, Kylian Mbappefootball player for Paris Saint-Germain and basketball player for Utah Jazz, Rudy Gobert. As a reminder, only one Frenchman appeared on this list last year and it was already a personality from Vitality, Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut.
