This Friday, two new publications are on the agenda of the Cac 40: those of the turnover for the third quarter of EssilorLuxottica and Renault. Some statistics to note also on both sides of the Atlantic.

Last session of the week, last day of the European Council which started the day before and last publications within the Cac 40. These are indeed two companies of the flagship index which will be on the front of the stage this Friday: the world leader optics EssilorLuxottica and car manufacturer Renaultfor their respective sales for the third quarter.
On the program in France, also, that of the automotive supplier Faurecia and the specialist in electronic retinal implants Pixium Vision.
Consumer confidence
Then, direction the United States for the end of the weekly publication diary. Operators will focus their attention on the third quarter results ofAmerican Expressof Schlumberger and of Verizon Communications.
On the statistical side, the retail sales September in the United Kingdom are expected to decline by 0.5%, more limited, however, than that of 1.6% the previous month. Then, the markets will be waiting for several consumer confidence figures for the month of October. In the United Kingdom, measured by the GfK index, it should have deteriorated to -52 points against -49 in September. In the euro zone, it should also contract, to -30 points against -28.8 previously.
