Go ahead, open it!” then retorted Estelle Denis.
It was then the turn of the technical team to intervene while the host hastened to justify herself to the viewer. “Laurie, listen, this is the first time this has happened…”. And to add: “I don’t know what to tell you! Because the safe is really stuck”.
The show being live, Estelle Denis had to find a solution to deal with this unexpected. “Laurie, here’s what we’re going to do! We’re going to run a very short ad page. We’ll meet you after the commercial break, once I figure out how to open this chest. I’m not lying to you, Laurie… It’s stuck. It’s really stuck, we can’t open it. It’s the first time it’s happened and of course it has to fall on me!” Fortunately, everything went back to normal afterwards.
