Estelle Mossely: the heartbreaking testimony of the boxer about her family in Ukraine

Boxing champion Estelle Mossely is particularly affected by the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. She expressed her concern for her family residing in Ukraine and denounced the situation on Instagram.

Born to a father of Congolese origin and a mother of Ukrainian descent, the boxing champion, Estelle Mossely is very affected by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Shortly after the declaration of war of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the 29-year-old wanted to alert her followers on Instagram and sent a heartbreaking message: “My Ukraine hurts! War is declared and it is everywhere. I pray for my family“.

Tony Yoka’s ex-wife and mother of two went on to offer more insight into the part of his family living in Ukraine. She explained: “My family lives in a small town in Ukraine far from the borders and not so close to the capital. I wouldn’t have imagined that it would hit them directly, immediately (bombings right now)“.

Estelle Mossely: “It’s time to stop denouncing and to act”.

Friday, February 25, when several deaths were already to be deplored on the Ukrainian side, Estelle Mossely decided to speak again. Very uplifted, the boxer wrote: “It’s time to stop denouncing and take action! Russia will not stop at Ukraine. The lessons of the past must serve“. She then went on to speak directly to the President of the Republic : “Emmanuel Macron fear has never worked in favor of anyone, it is not a question of sending men to war, but of finally starting to stop an invasion with material aid“.

Particularly touched and worried for her family, she warned of the magnitude that this war could take in the weeks and months to come. An alarming situation which now preoccupies the whole world.
