The Estelle Mouzin case is once again in the news, years after the disappearance of the nine-year-old girl on January 9, 2003, in Germantes in Seine-et-Marne. After the indications of Monique Olivier (the ex-wife of Michel Fourniret), who undermined his alibi, the ogre of the Ardennes ended up confessing the murder of Estelle Mouzin in March 2020, after his indictment. A DNA analysis confirmed the claims of the 79-year-old killer. The gendarmes of the Dijon research section and the archaeologists are therefore now looking for the body of the girl in Issancourt-et-Rumel, in the Ardennes. This is where Monique Olivier said she accompanied her ex, in her white van, to bury Estelle Mouzin there. These new excavations, which began on April 6, 2021, are the fifth in a year, but Eric, the father of the little girl, does not give up hope.
