If you find classic dating games a little soft, Eternals could potentially pique your curiosity thanks to its very present action component, and of course an “anime” style that we immediately notice. The trailer released during the State of Play sums up the concept perfectly.
The apocalypse doesn’t stop looking for love
In Eternals, love stories and real-time fights intertwine to offer us a rather unique experience in a post-apocalyptic world. The imminent arrival of the end of the world leaves little time to turn around, you will therefore be able to try approaches among 5 original characters between two dungeons.
The title will thus mix fights, survival and relationship, however you will be limited in time and you will have to make choices in relation to these different objectives. Deepening a relationship will still grant you new skills useful for your adventure. Dungeons are dangerous areas called “The Rampart” where you will have to reach a destination by overcoming multiple traps, puzzles and other dance mini-games.
We will still find classic elements of flirting games such as animated sequences or illustrations for moments rich in emotions.
Eternals is expected in early 2023 on PS4, PS5 (temporary exclusive) and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
