BRUSSELS (Reuters) – EU leaders will discuss the security of their infrastructure next week, European Council President Charles Michel said on Saturday, following damage to Nord Stream gas pipelines under the Baltic Sea, that several European leaders have described as sabotage.
“The sabotage of Nordstream gas pipelines is a threat to the EU. We are determined to secure our critical infrastructure. Leaders will address this issue at the upcoming summit in Prague,” Charles Michel said in a tweet after speaking with the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
