Eufy promises discreet cleaning with the RoboVac G20 Hybrid

The American manufacturer Eufy is releasing a new robot vacuum cleaner: the RoboVac G20 Hybrid. Barely 7 cm high and equipped with a 600 ml collector, the device seems ready to hunt for debris and dust.

Also specialized in the field of home security, such as surveillance cameras or connected doorbells, Eufy is releasing a new robot vacuum cleaner this time. And the manufacturer seems to learn from its mistakes – concerning, in particular, the size of its devices. Indeed, the RoboVac G20 Hybrid is only 7.2 cm high, compared to 10 cm for the RoboVac l70 Hybrid, which was a real handicap for cleaning under furniture.

Equipped with Boost IQ technology, the robot automatically increases suction when it passes over rugs or carpets, while being silent: Eufy announces a noise level of 55 dB. The main brush is combined with a small side brush to better dislodge dust in corners or along walls. We hope that the latter is removable for easy maintenance, unlike the one present on the RoboVac l70 Hybrid.

And if the docking station does not automatically empty the collector, do not panic for the most manic among you: the robot has a 600 ml collector, which should be able to clean large areas before having to be drained. And to complete the cleaning, the RoboVac G20 Hybrid is equipped with a mop and a water tray.

Sensors, 13 in all, adorn the robot and offer it methodical navigation. Strips are supplied with the device, intended to be placed on the ground to prevent it from circulating here or there. However, we are betting on the possibility of creating virtual walls through the application, as with the RoboVac l70 Hybrid. Finally, this connected vacuum cleaner obeys Alexa or Google Assistant. The user can thus ask him remotely to start the cleaning, to stop it and to return to his base.

Available from March, the RoboVac G20 Hybrid will be sold for €299.
