(CercleFinance.com) – Eurazeo announced on Friday its intention to use Moonfare’s digital platform to expand the distribution of its retail funds in Europe.
The investment group – which seeks to promote the accessibility of ‘private equity’ to individual investors – explains that it intends to offer its solutions via wealth management specialists, such as private banks, family offices or wealth management advisors.
Eurazeo specifies, however, that it is not intended to distribute its products directly to individual investors.
The first investment solutions via the digital platform will be available from the second half of 2023 in countries such as Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
As a reminder, Moonfare has designed a fully digital platform that allows eligible investors and their advisors anywhere in the world to invest in a wide selection of private equity opportunities.
With 3.5 billion euros under management from individual clients, Eurazeo has positioned itself as the French leader in the democratization of ‘private equity’.
With Moonfare, Eurazeo hopes to replicate this success at the European level.
