Euro zone: Retail sales up 0.1% in October


December 6 (Reuters) – Retail sales in the euro zone increased by 0.1% month-on-month in October, according to data published on Wednesday by Eurostat.

Over one year, retail sales in the 20 countries sharing the euro fell by 1.2%.

Sales in October of food, beverages and tobacco products fell by 1.1% month-on-month and by 0.8% for fuels.
