The French bio-analytical giant explains that the operation will enable it to strengthen not only its capacities in terms of food safety, but also its presence in Japan, where it already meets the needs of customers who export or import foodstuffs .
Created in 2013 as part of a spin-off from Qsai’s research and development division, QARC offers phytosanitary and food analysis services to customers in the food, wholesale and distribution sectors. , but also to government agencies through accreditation with the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW).
Its laboratories in Fukuoka and Nagoya, which employ nearly 80 people, are able to test for the presence of more than 800 chemical contaminants, Eurofins points out in a press release.
