Euroflorist wants to stand out from other florists, especially with fast shipping. Your delivery should arrive on the day of the order, even on the weekend. Thanks to a large network of florists, the service also delivers to your loved ones abroad. We took a closer look at the range and shipping options from Euroflorist.

Selection

At Euroflorist there are 68 bouquets, with a single rose for 13.99 euros being the cheapest product. The most expensive bouquet costs 89.99 and consists of white roses. In addition to flowers, you can also order indoor plants from the dealer. However, only a small selection of orchids and green plants such as aloe vera or lucky chestnuts are available to you.

Other selections include funeral wreaths, bouquets, flower arrangements, as well as coffin covers and urn arrangements. With these, the price range of up to 200 euros is quite high.

Structure of the website

You will be sent directly to the available selection of flowers via a search bar. All you have to do is enter the destination city including postal code and the delivery date. You can also browse the top bar with the categories for your search.

There you will find the item “Occasions”, under which you will also be made aware of upcoming public holidays. Under “Collections” you will find the entire range of Euroflorist, which is clearly displayed thanks to subcategories.

The florist pays special attention to bereavement. This category also has a place in the menu bar and you will find the arrangements and wreaths already mentioned there. Last but not least, you can send your flower greetings not only within but also outside of Germany via “Shipping Abroad”. More on that later.

The order

Once you have found the bouquet of your choice, you will receive a detailed overview of it. You will also get information and tips about the product, which are, however, quite superficial. Blume 2000 gives you more extensive information in this regard.

Before completing the order, you can change the size of some bouquets and arrangements from “Standard” to “Large”. If you don’t like the pre-selection, you can also specify a desired budget for selected flowers and, for example, have an even larger flower gift put together.

Impression at Euroflorist

You can also add extras to your deliveries to make the recipient even more happy. The selection is limited to greeting cards, vases, alcohol and chocolate. The selection varies from bouquet to bouquet. On the negative side, essential accessories for bouquets cost extra. So you have to pay 1.99 euros each for foil and preservative.

Shipping all over the world

If you place your order before 2 p.m. Monday to Friday and before 11 a.m. on Saturday, your flowers can be shipped the same day. However, this is not guaranteed for every product. No matter which delivery date you choose, there is always a charge of 7.95 euros for the delivery. This means that the retailer, together with Fleurop, charges the highest delivery fees in comparison.

Before you complete the ordering process, you have to choose the right occasion and can write a greeting card text with a maximum of 200 characters. You can also give the florist instructions if certain flowers should not be in the bouquet or if a certain color should be present. For the delivery, the options “Leave at the neighbor’s”, “Call in advance” and “Put in front of the door” can be selected. This makes the surprise even better.

Thanks to a network of over 54,000 florists worldwide, shipping abroad is also no problem. There are 74 countries to choose from. However, you do not have the same range of flowers as in this country and they are significantly more expensive. Even in neighboring countries like Belgium, the cheapest bouquet costs 55 euros. Delivery costs vary depending on the destination country. For the same flowers you have to pay 16.50 euros for delivery to the Netherlands and only 12.50 euros to New Zealand.

Disaster in practice

In theory, delivery at Euroflorist sounds expensive, but it is perfectly acceptable. In practice, however, it was different in our case. Since the recipient was not at home at the time of delivery, the bouquet went through an odyssey that we were able to follow with the tracking number.

Delivery by Euroflorist

In the practical test, there were difficulties at Euroflorist. The bouquet arrived almost a week late.

Almost a week after the original delivery date, a replacement bouquet finally found its destination. The flowers were delivered in a box in which they have a fixed position with a holder. Nevertheless, some flowers were affected by the transport. A damp cloth around the stems of the flowers provides the necessary moisture during transport.

Tips for proper care are included with the flower gift. However, there is no trace of the preservative mentioned in the instructions. Aside from a few flaws, the flowers appear solid. The delivery still caused headaches and would have been a total failure as a surprise.

payment options

Registration is not necessary with Euroflorist. Since you only have to enter the recipient’s address, anonymous shipping is possible without any problems. You can use PayPal, credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) and Klarna to pay. Like many other florists, Euroflorist does not have an app.
