Euronext: 6% increase in net income in the 2nd quarter

(CercleFinance.com) – Euronext publishes adjusted net profit for the second quarter of 2022 up 6.4% to 143.2 million euros, with an EBITDA margin down 0.9 points to 59, 2% for revenues up 14% to 374.7 million (+2.4% on a comparable basis).

The Exchanges group explains that this growth in turnover was driven by growth in non-volume activities, which represented 59% of the total, as well as by trading activities, in a volatile market environment.

‘We achieved 24.1 million euros in cumulative annual rate synergies in connection with the acquisition of Borsa Italiana, 14 months after the closing of the transaction’, further underlines the general manager and chairman of the management board Stéphane Boujnah.
