Europa League: OL qualified for the quarterfinals by resisting Porto (1-1)


Olympique Lyonnais qualified this Thursday evening for the quarter-finals of the Europa League by resisting FC Porto (1-1), in the second leg.

In the first leg, OL beat the Portuguese club 1-0.

Tonight, Moussa Dembélé opened the scoring (13th), before Porto equalized (27th) on a superb volley from the Brazilian Pepê (27th). Subsequently, OL controlled the game well and even got some good chances, without however managing to score the winning goal.

Lyon is the last French representative in the Europa League after AS Monaco lost 1-1 against Braga, 4th in the Portuguese championship and winner 2-0 in the first leg.

A few hours earlier, it was Olympique de Marseille who won their ticket for the quarterfinals on the European scene, in the Europa League Conference this time.
