This Thursday, Stade Rennais travels to Milan for the Europa League play-off first leg. Rennes supporters, known for their fervor, intend to make the trip to the San Siro stadium and show their fervor to the Rossoneri.

This Thursday, Stade Rennes faces Milan at San Siro in the round of 32 of the Europa League. 8 to 10,000 Bretons will travel to support their team. People from Rennes who are not afraid of miles and who intend to create a good atmosphere with family and friends.

From the fervor

Last drink for Jacques, Tom and around twenty lifelong friends, thirty-somethings and inveterate fans of Stade Rennais. They are preparing to take the train towards Lyon before heading to the San Siro stadium in Milan. “I have my brothers, I have my parents who are there and I have my uncle so it’s really multigenerational. There are a lot of women too. We are a bit of a separate club and I think that we like it and that’s why we like it even when we travel. We’re well seen when we arrive abroad. They won’t understand the atmosphere we’re going to create! I remember that the Londoners told us they had never seen that, so much fervor!” explains Jacques.

He sums up the objectives of this Milan evening in these few words: “We are there to show off, to sing, to set the mood and have a drink with the opposing supporters at the end of the match!”

“We are a people of travelers”

“In Rennes, we like to travel, we are a people of travelers and we are happy to go for a walk, to go and party with people. I think that it is a lot like that, the supporters of Rennes,” adds one of his friends.

A tide in red and black, the colors also inseparable from AC Milan and the supporters who are banking on their sympathy to surprise a largely favorite opponent.
