(CercleFinance.com) – Europcar Mobility Group welcomes the decision of the European Commission to authorize the acquisition of the company by Green Mobility Holding within the framework of its merger control procedure.
This clearance has been requested by Green Mobility Holding SA, a dedicated company owned by a consortium comprising car manufacturer Volkswagen AG, asset manager Attestor Limited and mobility products and services provider Pon Holdings BV, as part of its public tender offer in progress for the shares of Europcar Mobility Group.
The proposed merger between Europcar Mobility Group and Green Mobility Holding is entering its final phase. The closing date of the initial public tender offer period being set by the Autorité des marchés financiers at June 10, 2022 (inclusive).
