Europcar: trajectory revised upwards for 2022

(CercleFinance.com) – Claiming better visibility for 2022 than in its first quarter preliminary publication, Europcar Mobility Group now expects a pre-IFRS 16 Corporate EBITDA of more than 320 million euros for the current financial year.

‘Business trends are well oriented for the second quarter, with a new peak of activity in April thanks to prices which remain favorably oriented’, indicates the group, which nevertheless recognizes ‘a part of uncertainties on the second semester’.

In its first quarter, it saw its net loss fall by 71% to -22 million euros and its Corporate EBITDA came out positive at +31 million, a first in its history over this period of the year, for a figure revenue up 57% to 567 million.
