European elections: The RN far ahead, the Renaissance list in second position

PARIS, June 9 (Reuters) – The National Rally (RN) list, led by party president Jordan Bardella, won between 31.5% and 33.3% of the vote in the European legislative elections, according to several exit polls. ballot boxes.

In second position, the list of the presidential Renaissance party, led by Valérie Hayer, is given between 15.1% and 15.2%, neck and neck with that of the Socialist Party-Place publique, led by Raphaël Glucksmann, who obtained between 13.9% and 14.3% of the votes according to the polls.

The RN would thus obtain between 29 and 31 seats in the European Parliament, Renaissance between 14 and 15 seats and the Socialist Party-Public Square between 12 and 14 seats.

The La France insoumise (LFI) list, led by Manon Aubry, would collect between 8.1% and 8.7% of the votes. The Greens and Marion Maréchal’s Reconquest party are given around 5%, the threshold necessary to obtain seats in the Strasbourg Parliament.
