The presidential camp is preparing to give it a boost. In difficulty in the polls for the European elections, candidate Valérie Hayer is preparing to be further supported by Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. In the crosshairs: the RN candidate, ultra-favorite, Jordan Bardella. After a sluggish start to this campaign, the macronie seems determined to go on the offensive.

Gabriel Attal is ready to sound the charge. The Prime Minister and the majority candidate Valérie Hayer will meet this Monday evening at the Renaissance headquarters for the first campaign committee. “The objective is to tighten the system to create momentum,” says a party executive. “We must stop thinking about defeat,” says a minister. “We must stop thinking about after June 9, and campaign now!”, exclaims a minister.

After a debate with Jordan Bardella on Thursday, Valérie Hayer will reveal a large part of the composition of her list this Friday. At the same time, at the request of Emmanuel Macron, Gabriel Attal announced that he would take the word of the president of the National Rally who demanded a debate with him. “It’s simple, we stop being on the defensive and we go on the attack,” summarizes a member of the government.

Wake up the convinced

“Bardella does not speak, does not reveal himself. Our challenge is to remove his hypocrisies,” deciphers a campaign strategist who continues: “What is at stake today is the mobilization of our camp.” In other words, waking up the convinced, rather than busying itself with attracting new voters.
