The European Film Awards were awarded in Berlin on Saturday evening. One film in particular stood out: “Anatomy of a Case”. The film by French director Justine Triet won the awards for best film, best director, best actress, best screenplay and best editing. No other strip could keep up with this yield.

“Anatomy of a Case” is a legal thriller starring Sandra Hülser in the lead role. In the film, a successful writer comes under suspicion of murder. As the process progresses, more and more details about the family history emerge.

Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen was named best actor. In the film “Bastards” he plays a Danish soldier who tries to assert himself in the world of the nobility and rich in the 18th century.

Not a victorious evening for the Swiss film industry

Switzerland was represented at the European Film Awards with four nominations for co-productions. There was no price listed. Nevertheless, Switzerland can look forward to next year. For the first time, the European Film Prize will be held in Switzerland. The award ceremony will take place in Lucerne at the KKL.
