Embolo suffered a cruciate ligament tear last August and only played five games for his new club AS Monaco last season. “I wore compression socks because of my injury,” said Embolo about his bandage. “I’m glad I was able to play on the pitch. Thanks go to the doctors and physios. My goal is for the family, for the fans and teammates. It was a special year for me, but that’s part of life.”
