European stock markets ended sharply higher on Tuesday, satisfied with inflation figures in the United States which allow investors to continue to count on a drop in interest rates in the coming months.
The indices of the Paris Stock Exchanges (+0.84% to 8,087.48 points) and Frankfurt (+1.23% to 17,965.11 points) reached new records during the session and at the close, while Milan (+1. 31%) is at its highest since 2008. London increased by 1.02%.
