European stock markets ended sharply lower on Tuesday, abandoning all or most of their rebound from the day before as the publication of an inflation indicator in the United States, crucial for monetary policy expectations, approaches.

Frankfurt lost 1.32%, Paris 0.86% and Milan 1.08%, while London limited its losses to 0.11%. On the bond market, the interest rates of European states have relaxed after their surge in recent days.
