European stock markets stalled on Monday due to the rise in interest rates in the United States and sought a new lease of life after several weeks of solid increases.

Paris fell by 0.67%, Frankfurt by 0.56%, Milan by 0.30%. London, with its commodities businesses, bucked the overall trend and rose 0.15%.
