European stock indexes opened around their equilibrium point on Monday, with investors hoping for news of potential measures to support the Chinese economy after a small, unexpected rate cut by the Chinese central bank.

In early trading, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange rose slightly by 0.12%, London remained stable (+0.02%), while Paris fell by 0.26%.
