European stock markets opened around balance on Tuesday, between the end of the meeting of the Bank of Japan, which unsurprisingly raised its key interest rates, and the start of that of the American Central Bank.

Paris fell by 0.03%, Frankfurt by 0.02% while London gained 0.02%. On the bond market, government interest rates remained stable.
