European stock markets were up on Tuesday after a long weekend, driven by a new stage in the reopening of China after three years under a sanitary bell.

Paris gained 0.84% and Frankfurt 0.76% at the opening, while the London Stock Exchange remained closed. On the bond market, rates continued to rise, close to the highs of the year in France and Germany.
