European stock markets open lower

European stock markets opened lower on Monday, in the wake of significant profit taking on Wall Street technology stocks on Friday and on the eve of the publication of inflation data in the United States.

Paris fell by 0.53%, Frankfurt by 0.69% and London by 0.31%. In Portugal, the Lisbon Stock Exchange lost 0.27% after the narrow victory of the center-right opposition in the legislative elections.
