European stock markets rose on Tuesday after the announcement of lower inflation in the United States, in line with analysts’ expectations, thus confirming their hopes of a pause in the rate hike by the American central bank.

Frankfurt gained 0.83%, Paris 0.56% and London 0.32%. The US central bank began its monetary policy meeting on Tuesday and will deliver its decision on Wednesday after European markets close.
