Europeans: Sarah Knafo, Guillaume Peltier… Marion Maréchal unveils the Reconquête list!

Marion Maréchal, head of the Reconquest list! for the European elections, revealed on Tuesday the names of his 80 running mates, including Eric Zemmour and the mother of a victim of the 2020 Romans-sur-Isère attack, in the penultimate and last place. At the top of the list are, behind Marion Maréchal, the former number two of LR Guillaume Peltier, the advisor and partner of Eric Zemmour Sarah Knafo, the outgoing MEP and former vice-president of the RN Nicolas Bay, the fifth position being occupied by the president of the Conservative Movement (formerly Common Sens) Laurence Trochu.

Éric Zemmour at the end of the list

Stanislas Rigault, president of the Reconquête youth movement, Génération Zemmour, occupies sixth place, followed by Agnès Marion, very close to Marion Maréchal who was regional advisor in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and Jean Messiha, enarque and media figure of the extreme right. At the bottom of the list, Eric Zemmour occupies the 80th position, while the last place was reserved for Evelyne Reybert, the mother of Julien Vinson, murdered during an attack in April 2020 in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) “by a Sudanese refugee,” recalled Marion Maréchal.

The Reconquest list collects 5.5% of voting intentions in a Toluna-Harris Interactive study published Tuesday, within the margin of error of the 5% threshold necessary to send representatives to the Strasbourg hemicycle. Above all, she is very far behind the favorite, Jordan Bardella (RN), a source of strategic differences between Zemmourists and “Marionists”: the former advocate attacking head-on the one who is credited with nearly a third of the votes by the pollsters, the latter showing on the contrary a certain leniency for the former party of Marion Maréchal.

“We are behind (Marion Maréchal), with her, for her”

“I am happy to be on this list to show that I support (it) with all my strength,” Eric Zemmour wanted to convince Tuesday. “We are all behind (Marion Maréchal), with her, for her,” added the fourth man in the 2022 presidential election (7.07% of the votes cast in the first round).

On the Maréchal list are still in tenth place the municipal councilor of Nice Philippe Vardon, the regional councilor of Normandy Eve Froger in eleventh, the identity activist Damien Rieu in twelfth, a mathematics teacher, Séverine Duminy, in thirteenth place , and the mayor of Cogolin Marc-Etienne Lansade in fourteenth position.
