Europlasma: Aid from Nouvelle-Aquitaine

(CercleFinance.com) – Europlasma said on Monday that it would benefit from aid of 1.7 million euros from the Regional Council of New Aquitaine, an announcement that supported its share price on Monday in Paris.

The aid – which should take the form of a repayable advance – will enable the specialist in the treatment of hazardous waste to continue developing its activities, in particular at its site in Morcenx (Landes).

In particular, there are plans to increase the capacity of the plant for preparing solid recovered fuels (SRF) from economic activity waste (DAE) hitherto buried, which serves as a substitute for fossil fuels.

This activity makes it possible to provide a low-carbon energy source to companies seeking to reduce their carbon impact.

In addition, the installation of a solar farm, aimed at rationalizing the energy footprint, is being studied on the site.

Finally, Inertam, the asbestos waste treatment plant, will continue to benefit from its optimization program to increase its productivity and profitability.

All these announcements carried the action of the specialist in the valuation of materials up more than 12% on Monday on the Paris Stock Exchange.
