Europlasma, specialist in treatment and hazardous waste, material recovery and decarbonization, announces that its subsidiary Inertam has received a historic order from an Italian company specializing in the management of hazardous waste.
The contract covers the treatment of 1,500 tonnes of asbestos waste in 2023.
The receipt of the authorization from the competent authorities in charge of the cross-border transport of hazardous waste, expected in the first quarter of 2023, will allow the transport of the waste to Inertam, the only industrial facility in the world capable of definitively eradicating the toxicity of asbestos fibres.
Thus, the progress made in recent weeks on Italian and Swiss contracts testifies to the relevance beyond our borders of Inertam’s technology in terms of protecting public health and preserving the environment.
