EUROPLASMA – The State supports the Forges de Tarbes investment plan – 2023/08/11 at 17:45

Europlasma, a specialist in treatment and hazardous waste, material recovery and decarbonization, announces that as part of an export support scheme, the State has just granted Forges de Tarbes a repayable advance amounting to to €7,143,000 in order to contribute to the financing of planned investments on their production site until 2025. Payments of funds made by Bpifrance Assurance Export will be staggered over 3 years.

As a reminder, in the current geopolitical context, Les Forges de Tarbes, specialized in the manufacture of hollow bodies, have received since the second half of 2022 numerous orders and other marks of interest from various munitions suppliers in Europe.

As such, the Europlasma Group has launched a €15 million investment program (excluding energy assets) to gradually increase production capacity in order to be able to absorb peaks of up to 160,000 parts per year from 2025 and expand the range of products manufactured on the other hand.

This decision, instructed by the Directorate General for Armaments, is therefore a continuation of the three export licenses already granted (press releases of February 14, May 25 and July 31, 2023) which allow the export of products subject to restricted, such as the hollow bodies produced in Tarbes.
